Mindfulness, often looked to improve our attention, starts in the body. Based on the latest findings in neuroscience, the Feldenkrais Method® utilizes gentle, intentional movements to deepen self-awareness. In this course, we learn mindfulness in motion, directing attention to our body’s movements and sensations. Through walking, sitting in a chair, and reclining, we learn to release body tension, allowing our mind to flow and return to a pre-conditioned way of learning. Each session is unique, like a new crossword puzzle for the body. And because our imagination is involved, everyone can participate.
