Will Wells

Will Wells is a Feldenkrais practitioner based in Sonoma County, CA.

After a Post-doctorate degree in chiropractic, he spent 5 years studying and exploring the writings of Moshe Feldenkrais, and began his official training in Amherst, MA. Will also worked as a respiratory therapist and mentored in developmental optometry with Ray Gottlieb. The knowledge gained during this period adds to the depth of Will’s anatomical and physiological knowledge, which he continues to utilize as a Feldenkrais practitioner. One of Will’s greatest teachings and eventual recovery came from a traumatic hand injury. His ongoing recovery over the past 42 years is largely due to his persistent application of Moshe’s as well as Eileen Bach-y-Rita’s ideas. He uses his nonlinear background to inspire and benefit others. “Every day is the ATM.”

Workshop Presenters

The Feldenkrais® Educational Foundation of North America (FEFNA)

The Feldenkrais® Educational Foundation of North America (FEFNA) supports and promotes advancing the legacy of the Feldenkrais Method® of somatic education through research, education, and public awareness.

The Feldenkrais Legacy Forum

In 2015 a small group of practitioners created the Feldenkrais Legacy Forum (FLF) to explore critical issues affecting the future of our work. The FLF continues to develop member participation in the Feldenkrais® Community as it works toward broadening the reach of the Feldenkrais Method in the Americas. Working groups are actively developing proposals including expanding membership in general, attracting younger and more diverse individuals, exploring new models for practitioner training, providing opportunities for collaborative learning beyond trainings, supporting public knowledge of the work, and developing proposals for funding for these and other projects.

Oliver Bayley

Nothing is more satisfying to me than helping people overcome real problems like movement challenges and pain. I have been an Anat Baniel Method (ABM) Practitioner working with adults and children since 2013, with certifications in working with children, the aging, and high performers. After devoting the previous 24 years to product design; designing physical products, web sites, and mobile apps with a focus on enabling people to use products with ease, now I help people move with ease.
