Feldenkrais in Jamaica Plain is excited to announce a new hybrid offering! We’ll explore a classic Awareness Through Movement(R) lesson in an in-person workshop in JP on Satuday March 26th followed by a repetition and deepening of the material during a four week online series. You are welcome to join us in-person, online, or both!

Come take a deep dive into the quintessential, generative, and life-sustaining Feldenkrais lesson: The Pelvic Clock! Whether you are looking to reduce pain, improve mobility and stability, enhance performance, or spark spontaneity – this lesson has something for most everyone. All levels of movement ability or physical condition are welcome.

Awareness Through Movement lessons aim to make you aware of your habitual patterns of movement and to expand options for new ways of moving while increasing sensitivity, comfort, and ease. By paying attention to the details of how you perform an action, you have an opportunity to “learn how to learn,” as well as learn how to:

attend to your whole self while moving
reduce unnecessary energy output
mobilize your intentions into actions
bring your nervous system into balance
