Awareness Through Movement® classes are gentle, guided explorations that help you move with more ease, curiosity, and connection. Based in the Feldenkrais Method® of somatic education, these lessons support nervous system regulation, functional movement, and embodied learning. Move easier, feel better!

Good for:
– pain and chronic tension
– burnout and trauma recovery
– sensory overwhelm
– mobility, flexibility, balance
– artists, neurodivergents, movement nerds, caretakers, and anyone who’s tired of pushing

Bring a padded blanket or mat to lie on (like a moving blanket or folded comforter).

Please do not come if you are sick! Please wear a mask if you might have a slight cold. There are recordings for you to do at home on YouTube and Patreon.
Access info for Etowah Lions Club: Paved sidewalk leads from paved parking lot into building–no steps. The class is led verbally (not visually) – no ASL provided. Bathrooms available. Masks are not currently required but can be if needed. I will not touch you unless you ask. Lessons are often done lying on the floor on your back, side, or front, but can also be done in a chair—please let me know if you would prefer a chair lesson so I can be prepared. Childcare is not currently provided. Please let me know your access needs so I can accommodate them: (828) 278-8239.
