What Words Do You Use to Learn?
How do you talk to yourself when learning a new action, refining a posture, or shifting a habit?
We lack a shared language for movement. We struggle to describe what we feel internally, and even more so to articulate how different parts of ourselves connect and work together.
We need to develop a toolkit of words—not to categorize or confine movement, but to open new possibilities. Naming isn’t about putting things in a cubbyhole, but opening a door to a field to play in.
That’s the theme of the series: Opening Doors to a Field to Play In
Join us in this exploration of movement, learning, and play. If you’re new to Feldenkrais® lessons, this is a perfect introduction. If you’ve taken classes before, you’ll return to old favourites while deepening your experience of how you experience.
Come play. Let’s open doors together.
