Every repetition not only trains muscles—it also rehearses a pattern of movement.
The Feldenkrais Method® invites us to slow down and become curious about that pattern: how effort is distributed, what may be working harder than necessary, and what other possibilities are available. By reducing effort and introducing variation, we give the nervous system time to sense differences, discover alternatives, and organize movement more effectively.
In this experiential workshop, Feldenkrais® practitioner Chrish Kresge will explore how these principles can enrich almost any form of exercise. We will investigate the difference between training and learning, effort and efficiency, and focused concentration and broad awareness.
A short, accessible movement lesson will demonstrate how curiosity, imagination, and attentive movement can make familiar actions feel easier, more coordinated, and more pleasurable.
Come prepared to move gently, think differently, and discover how doing a little less can help you move and feel better.
