GRIT, Feldenkrais® & Better Balance

September 30 @ 9:00 am – 11:00 am PDT

In this workshop we will explore the virtue of GRIT, TRUE GRIT & Slow GRIT! We will explore through breathing and fist and length Awareness Through Movement® how this virtue is embodied wisdom: your nervous system’s 14-billion-year-old learning and accessed through movement and awareness. It takes action. It pauses. It pivots. It listens. And yes—you can even have a smile. Dr. Kelly McGonigal, PhD. A Stanford professor says, you can find joy in movement while doing the hardest things.

The Feldenkrais® approach makes GRIT, not only to survive but to thrive.  this makes YOU and your persererance is sustainable because it works WITH your body, not against it.

Moshe’s Story:

Moshe Feldenkrais knew this GRIT intimately. At 16 years old, he left Ukraine alone and traveled to Palestine during the early days of Jewish settlement—uncertain, difficult, pioneering.

Not rigid. Not forcing. Adaptable grit. The kind that meets circumstances and finds a way forward.

In this workshop we’ll Explore Together:

  • The ground forces you need for endurance
  • Adaptability—The power of the pivot
  • Staying true to your north star – TRUE GRIT
  • The power of the pause—SLOW GRIT

This is GRIT that will support you a GRIT that lasts.
