“Body Moves” is a series of Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement virtual, on line lessons that are accessible from the comfort of your own home. Dotti Harness-Foster, M.Ed., GCFP, will guide you through movements that are designed to increase your strength and balance, improve your posture, and engage your brain. Whether seated, standing, or lying on the floor, participants will learn how to move with greater ease and comfort.
Thanks to a grant from the American Parkinson’s Disease Association and support from the Homer Council on the Arts, these virtual classes are FREE and last between 40 – 50 minutes. Drop in for 1 or 2, or the entire series.
Dotti will share her passion for anatomy, which in turn gives you better insight to how you can move with greater ease and comfort. After a lesson, people often report pain relief, increased energy, that their brain is “awake” and they have more swagger in their gait.
