Discomfort, injury & trauma with its accompanying anxiety has us seeking solutions at the site of the problem. In these classes, you’ll discover that the resolution of your pain or anxiety can be accomplished by harnessing the powerful neuroplasticity in the mind/brain, & displacing faulty or no-longer useful habits that have been ’wired’ over a lifespan. You are inherently endowed with the ability for organic learning at any age and particularly potent learning occurs, when given a supportive environment that encourages neuroplasticity, novelty & pleasure.
Patricia will guide you in movement explorations designed to wake you up to learning… tapping into your remarkable self-healing capacity that release conditioned patterns of moving, thinking, feeling, & acting. Greater pleasure, release from chronic pain, creative self-expression and improved cognitive function are likely outcomes. This is a movement based approach in which “aware-ed” movement leads to unexpected benefits. Whatever your condition or level of fitness, you’ll experience deeper embodiment, balance, & joy in movement.
